Learning designed.
Systems delivered.

Learning Design Experience & Project Management Specialist
Chartered Member, CIPMN · Registered Teacher, TRCN

I work at the point where learning design meets delivery. At Zino Aviation I led the development and implementation of the Learning Management System behind our aviation training programmes. Through Sourcereflect, the initiative I founded in 2018, I have designed and delivered practical training to more than 1,500 people.

The through-line

From the question
to the working system.

Most capability problems die between the design and the delivery. My experience covers the full run — select a stage to see the work behind it.

Understand the need

Before a platform or a programme, the question: who is learning, under what conditions, and what is actually getting in the way.

About

A technical start, a teaching detour, and a career spent joining the two.

My route into Learning & Development did not begin in a training department. It began in fisheries technology — and the habit of turning technical knowledge into something other people can use has shaped everything since.

I trained first at the Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology, Victoria Island, graduating with a National Diploma in Fisheries Technology and recognised as best graduating student of the department. In 2018 I founded Sourcereflect, a community-driven capacity building initiative built around sustainable aquaculture training and economic empowerment. Designing modules on fish farming, aquarium design, feed formulation and sustainable processing — and delivering them to more than 1,500 students, individuals and community participants — was where I learned that content is the easy half. Reach, partnerships and follow-through are the hard half.

That pushed me toward studying learning itself. I read Education (Biology) at the University of Lagos, graduating with a 3.73/5.00 CGPA, and wrote my final-year research on students’ perception of the use of a learning management system at the university’s Distance Learning Institute. It is a question I have effectively been answering ever since: what makes people actually use the learning systems we build for them?

Operations first, learning systems second — deliberately

I joined Zino Aviation in 2022 as an Operations and Project Executive, running operational workflows, project coordination and system support for aviation consulting and training services. That role taught me delivery: structured operational frameworks, procurement strategy that cut operational expenses by 18 per cent, and institutional risk management and compliance monitoring.

Since 2024 I have worked across technical operations and learning systems, supporting the infrastructure behind aviation training delivery and simulation-based learning. The defining piece of work has been leading the development and implementation of a Learning Management System that created a structured digital training environment for aviation programmes and improved learner engagement — alongside streamlining workflows that cut training turnaround time by more than 20 per cent, and supporting the flight simulator systems the training runs on.

Learning design without delivery is a document. Delivery without learning design is a platform nobody learns from. I have spent my career on both sides of that line.

Where I am now

I am completing a Master of Education Technology at the National Open University of Nigeria, expected January 2026. I hold chartered membership of the Chartered Institute of Project Managers of Nigeria and registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria, and I volunteer on CIPMN’s development of short courses on project management for practising project management professionals — work that sits exactly at the intersection I care about: project management knowledge, turned into learning, delivered through a system.

Core expertise

Four capability areas, one operating range.

Learning & Development and Project Management are the two pillars. Education Technology is what lets them meet. Operations is what keeps the result standing.
